Good architecture requires sensitive readings and tailored responses to the given conditions of each Project, those of place, time, and the culture into which it is to be inserted.

To be successful, a Project will require constant alignment and adaptation to all the limiting forces that surround it, all without losing its main purpose, which is to be a work of architecture.

Mauricio has been dedicated to architectural practice for 20 years. With a passion for high-quality craftsmanship and sustainability, he has worked extensively both in Sao Paulo, Brazil and San Francisco, California. His diverse portfolio holds a vast array of project types, including Early Childhood Centers, Schools and Zoo Exhibits in California, Master Plan developments in Tianjin, China; Private Clinics and Museum Stores in Sao Paulo and several Single-Family Residences both in the US and in Brazil.

Constantly striving to deliver the best possible work, Mauricio possesses a strong sense of aesthetics in addition to effective collaborative and communication skills, which allows him to bridge the aspirations and needs of clients and building users with the complexities of design, project approvals and building construction. His professional path is one of constant growth, paved by technical expertise, a quest for innovation and a passion for Architecture.

With his Hungarian wife, Lilla, and their two sons Zenkő and Nándor, Mauricio currently resides in the beautiful city of Budapest.

Mauricio is a licensed architect in Sao Paulo, Brazil and in the state of California, United States. He is also member of the AIA (The American Institute of Architects).
